While electric heating uses a heat pump to extract warmth from the air and warm the water. It’s more effective than solar in cooler temperatures, but will not operate if the air drops below 50°F. Although, one of the best ways to heat pool water is to use gasoline, it can turn out to be quite expensive if you want to attain higher temperatures.
